sudo no password

I am tired to type each time password when I type sudo command. And you? It is possible to use sudo with no password in Ubuntu and any other Linux systems. So, do you want to use sudo without password prompt?

To disable password prompt in Linux you need to follow next steps.

Create a group for users who will be using sudo without password prompt. In Ubuntu this group already exists

sudo groupadd sudo

Add your username to this group

sudo usermod -a -G sudo username

where username - name of your user in system

Edit /etc/sudoers file

sudo nano /etc/sudoers

Find a string bellow in this file

%sudo ALL=(ALL:ALL) ALL

and change it to this

That's all. Now you can use sudo with no password
